Active Duty or Active Guard and Reserve (AGR) personnel enrolled to Andrew Rader US Army Health Clinic as their Primary Care Facility.
Active Duty or Active Guard Reserve AGR Army personnel who are assigned to an Air Force base or Navy base within the National Capital Area, or a healthcare facility that does not have MEDPROS PHA entry capability.
Active Duty Marine, Navy, and USPHS assigned to Rader Health Clinic. Navy personnel and Marines needing any type of special physical (schools, demobilization, etc.) should provide their Services' requirements for those exams.
DOD civilians are eligible to complete Pre-Deployment physicals at ARUSAHC. They must be enrolled in TRICARE before scheduling an appointment. ensuring they are enrolled in the system for Rader Health Clinic. All DOD civilians are required to provide all forms necessary for the physical and a list of requirements.
Foreign Nationals enrolled at ARUSAHC are eligible. They should provide any host nation forms required for the physical examination as well as a list of requirements.
All other situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis per the OIC of Physical Exams.

Thank you for selecting our Clinic for your Physical Exam needs. The staff of the clinic would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and familiarize you with our hours of operation, services we provide and other resources. We see only Active Duty, Reserve and National Guard members (must be on Title 10 Orders).
All patients are seen by appointment only which are booked by calling (703) 696-3477. You cannot book Physical Exam appointments using Tricare Online.
In the event you need to speak to a Physical Exams representative please call (703) 696-3476 or (703) 696-3477. Please arrive on time, as you are NOT required to arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment.
Service members must have a tetanus shot that contains "pertussis" regardless of when your last tetanus shot was. Please see the following MEDPROS message:
"According to the Medical Protection System (MEDPROS), you are overdue on one or more of the Routine Adult Immunizations. You can download your Electronic Immunization Record (DD Form 2766C) after clicking on the view detailed information link located in the Immunization Alert. If the information on the DD Form 2766C is incorrect, please consult with your Medical Treatment Facility (Active Army) or unit administrator (Natl Guard, Army Reserve) to have your status updated. You may be asked to provide copies of paper immunization records to support requested changes. (Please note that the Tetanus Diphtheria and aCellular Pertussis vaccine replaced the Tetanus Diphtheria Adult Vaccination effective 6 Feb 2013)"
If you have a Soldier that is RED on their immunization module in MEDPROS and they have an up-to-date tetanus shot that contains pertussis, please be patient as it should resolve itself. You can look for the following on your immunizations record to ensure that you are up to date on your immunizations.

Post Deployment Health Assessment (PDHA) And Post Deployment Health Risk Assessment (PDHRA)
Welcome Specialty Clinic Physical Examination. The information contained on this page is only applicable to the Andrew Rader United States Health Clinic (ARUSHC) and not any other military facilities. Our Physical Exams office offers the following Physicals:
Part 1 – Call to schedule your part 1 appointment. Be sure to Fast for 12 hours prior to your appointment. The purpose of the Part 1 is to complete all the required forms, Lab test, X-Rays, EKG if required, Hearing and Vision Screening.
Part 2 – Will be scheduled ONLY after all Lab results are completed.
Audiology Clinic (hearing test) is for Active Duty only, within the Specialty Clinic. Walk-in Hours are between 1300-1445 on Mon- Fri. There are 12 slots available per day, once these are full you will be put onto a priority callback list for the next day.
If you are planning to file a Veterans Affairs (VA) claim for an injury or illness that is a result of military service, you can receive the separation and VA compensation physical examination at the same time.
NOTE: Your VA compensation physical examination can only be done through the VA.
To combine your separation and VA physical and file a VA claim, you must begin the process well before you will leave the service. You can schedule this exam up to six (6) months (180 days) prior to the scheduled retirement date. Examinations will be required no later than 90 days prior to separation/retirement date. Contact the VA Regional Office nearest you or by calling the Veterans Crisis Line 1-800-273-8255 and Press 1.

The clinic will be closed the first Wednesday of each month for training.
